Březen-na pec si vlezem. Březen-za kamna vlezem. Panská láska, ženská chuť a březnové počasí není stálé. V březnu vítr břízy fouká. V březnu vítr, v dubnu déšť-pak jistě úrodný rok jest. Březnové slunce má krátké ruce. Lépe od hada býti uštknut, než v březnu od slunce ohřát. Studený marec, mokrý máj-bude humno jako ráj. Jestli březen kožich stáhl, duben rád by po něm sáhl. Sníh v březnu škodí osení i vinné révě.
